SalesMaster is a large web application and motor industry platform, providing a smarter way for people to find new cars. We are an established, well funded company that’s part of the privately owned Fevore Group. We can offer great career progression with many exciting opportunities ahead. Our clients include major manufacturers and dealer groups, our software is used in over 500 dealerships, including some of the largest retailers in the UK.

After a successful start-up period we are growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to join our busy in-house development team in Milton Keynes. You will be working as part of a small team and can expect to develop across our application, from front end UI enhancements to supporting the infrastructure.

You should be proficient at Ruby on Rails, Javascript and the RSpec testing framework. You'll be familiar with HTML, HAML, CSS, SASS/SCSS and CoffeeScript. You'll also be experienced using git and GitHub as part of a collaborative workflow. Previous infrastructure experience is not a prerequisite as we can bring you up to speed, but you should enjoy being challenged and learning as our technology skillsets are diverse.

Our relaxed open plan office is based near the Stadium:MK, within walking distance of the MK1 shopping and leisure park. Milton Keynes is a large, modern town and features a shopping complex, indoor skiing facilities, theatre and vibrant nightlife all within a 30 minute train journey from London. The Milton Keynes grid roads, redways and public transport links, make us an easy commute from within the city centre and surrounding area.
