Job Description: I am currently looking for a highly experienced Rails Guru to join a rapidly expanding e-commerce company ASAP. This company work directly within the e-commerce sector covering all aspects of the design and build of varied websites for a number of well known clients across vertical markets including Blue Chips, SME’s and Dotcoms. As Ruby/Rails Technical Team Lead you will work directly under the CTO with your time being split between Team management and hands on development. You will manage the team ensuring all development projects are at the highest standard. Liaise with the CTO to make key technical decisions relating to future projects, methodologies used and key architecture planning. Drive Agile, BDD, TDD and paired programming methods Carry out weekly/monthly meetings with junior developers (when needed) Extensive background experience to one other development language such as Java, Perl, PHP, C or C++.
